Planning to move to Zurich or Geneva. Which city is better?

So I'm planning to relocate to Switzerland, and been thinking about these two cities. I'm here to ask some general information about life in them (and Switzerland in general) and which city you would recommend. I can speak both German and French relatively well, my German being a bit weaker, but I'm willing to take courses to improve it.


Some questions I'd like to to know:
Cost of living.

Differences and similiarities in local culture.

Which palce has better shopping opportunities (I'm really into shopping lol)?

Which one of them is more socially conservative?

Which place has more international crowd?

In what ways are the women, in general, different (for dating purposes :msncool:)?

How are the locals in these two cities in general?

Anything else you might come up with that would be important to know about these cities or the country in general.


So yeah, I'd like to know which city would be better to stay in. I've been also considering moving to France so if you got some information and recommendations between Switzerland and France that'd be graet too, but it's not that important since Switzerland is my main focus now.
