Phoning people, Taking pictures, ugh, mostly a waste of time, but for some reason I want to join these losers with no life, oh my mistake that is life, the reason being I saw the most gorgeous f.a.t enormous perambulating caterpillar (i mean enormous, the size of a sausage) on a bike ride and wanted to share it with everyone everywhere it was so amazing.
It seems these are the smartphones with the 'best' cameras.
lumia 1020 (20+mp) disappointing pics 700chf
lg g4 (16mp / 8mp) 500chf
samsung s zoom (20+mp) 380chf disappointing pics plus dust in lens problem
samsung 6s (16mp / 2mp) 540chf low light disappointing
blackberry slider (20+mp) 600chf? not out yet but i don't trust blackberry to make good camera software, or waterproofing so not sure i want to wait and miss another caterpillar experience.
Its weird but the ones with the higher mp don't seem to take the best pictures according to online reviews. This guy who does some good comparisons.
I think i'm going for the lg g4 because it goes some way to being a work hard play hard smartphone (ok it gives you the option in my case) ,
It has waterproofing that the s6 and the others don't. so you can take it out on the bike and a bit of dust and wet won't kill it.
it appears to have a bright enough screen to be used in sunlight.
Anyone else buy a smart phone with the main eye for the camera quality? Is this a crazy thing to do?
