We have a very strange situation with an apartment under construction that we bought.
We had the choice of covering the bathroom tiles in part (covered in standard) or in full (pay extra costs).
We decided to cover in standard as we did not want to pay extra. We signed the relevant documentation.
When we visited the apartment we were surprised to see the bathroom covered in full and we called the construction partner immediately. He was surprised too. Finally, now when it has come to payment, the costs are higher than agreed as the tiles are covered in full and they are blaming it on us that when we visited to finalise the alignment of tiles, we have asked them to cover it in full. :mad:
The documents are on our side, but they are just repeating their (incorrect) argument. The difference is significant which we are simply not ready to bear. Anyone had a similar experience ? Do you think it makes sense to send a registered letter on the topic, or any other ideas ?
