I am British but have lived in CH since 2012 and am employed only here. I own no property in the UK. I do however still have my savings in UK bank accounts, but these earn very minimal interest.
Do I have to fill in a UK tax return? I have done so for the last few years, but friends / colleagues were surprised and said that since they did not have any UK income and pay Swiss tax, did not have to do so. Why do HMRC ask for one from me? Can anyone advise?
