Sorry if I've missed an existing thread on this...
Last week I updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 8.4 and immediately it started running extremely hot and the battery drain is appalling - 25% battery gone in 20 minutes at times without doing anything. When plugged into a computer as opposed to a mains charge, it's almost draining faster than it can charge. I should add that the *only* change to the phone is the OS update so it can only be that that is the culprit.
Apple - in its wisdom - evidently closed off rollback options a week after 8.4 was released, so now I'm stuck with a burning pile of metal that has to stay on charge the vast majority of the time where previously I had a very stable device on iOS 8.1.4 with the best battery life of any iPhone I've ever had.
Has anyone come across a fix for this? I've tried the usual stuff like restoring it...
