Hi Everyone,
I have been looking through this forum for many years, contemplating a transfer to CH. It finally happened - now I am happily employed in Zurich and burdened will all the paperwork that entails.
I am from the US, so I got an L-permit without any second thoughts being given to it. This causes a lot of headaches, and even though my contract is permanent, my question to HR about appealing the decision got me the Swiss-German equivalent of "Bless your heart" that I am more used to in State-side.
Now that I am official, I thought I would join and say "Hi!" Hopefully, I can help (and I also have a billion questions - to be asked after I get through the Search function).
Best of luck to you all and glad we're all in this together!
