Hello, my name is Nicole and I am new to this forum. I am staying in Nendaz with my French partner who is currently working here on an L permit. I was also working, although am now pregnant and due in January, so unable to do my ski-instructing job, this winter.
We are extremely excited, although now We decided to bring our wedding date forward and have a civil marriage as soon as possible.
I have looked at the websites, but find it hard to understand the details of obtaining the certificate of no impediment to marriage. I was told to go to the British embassy in Berm, but they said they no longer do this. Do I just get this document from the local marriage registration office, or do I need to get it in the UK?
Any advice on getting married in Sion, would be amazing.
Any other pregnant mums near by, it would be great to hear from you too :)
