Not sure where to put this....
Following my mother's death 3 months ago, I find myself left lumbered with a pile of very old books, four leather-bound volumes of Pearsons magazines etc. A load of them were my grandmother's, others who knows? Clearly my mother never quite knew what to do with them either as a lot of them have pretty much lived in tea chests and subsequently boxes for the last nearly 40 years... They're mostly hardback, so not something the churches want for their bazaars, and I flat refuse to just throw away books.
Does anyone have any ideas where I could dispose of them usefully? Any recommendations for dealers? Any collectors out there? They are all in English and are located in Switzerland. (eBay/ricardo/tutti etc not an option - I don't have the sort of time that would require!)
Thanks in advance for any thoughts
