Which mobile subscriber to choose from ? (I will make many calls abroad to France)

Hi !

I plan to subscribe to a swiss mobile provider next week.

The swiss mobile providers I know are Salt, Swisscom and Sunrise.

My requirements are : unlimited phone calls and text messages. At least 3Gb of 3G/4G data per month.
And I will make many calls to France, so I need a subscription where calls to France are not overcharged.

Which subscriber and subscription plan would you suggest to choose ?

I know there are many subscription plans available, but i guess many of you have quite the same requirements as mine (many calls abroad especially)

Hello,

I'm working full time in a financial institution in Zurich. I recently got an offer to work as a consultant for a Bay Area startup in California. I plan to work on this consulting work outside of my regular job time. I don't have a possibility to reduce my full time job to any lower percentage. Also I'm not sure how long the startup consulting could last.

do I need to let my primary employer know about my consulting activities that don't pose any conflict of interest as its a very different industry. I'm afraid that my company might say no to such arrangement as this arrangement might make me more tired and can't focus fully on my primary job. What happens if I say nothing to my primary employer? I think I would need to declare the income I receive from my consulting activities on my tax statement. I'm south Asian married to a Swiss so I don't do tax at source and file independently along with wife's taxes. Is there any way my employer would know about this consulting activity through tax authorities? Would it be illegal not to mention about this consulting arrangement with my primary employer? I'm really in a dilemma and any inputs and insights to my situation would be highly appreciated.

What are the required documents / info to get a B permit ?

Hi there ;) !

I have a few questions about what the required documents / info to get a B permit are...

From what I've read somewhere, I can obtain the B permit by myself within the first week of my arrival at local authorities ("Gemeinde Einwohnerkontrolle") from my residential area. I indeed need a copy of my passport, my work contract and a passport photo for that.

My question is : do I need to give them a residential address ?
If yes, should I first register my address to the local autorities ?

I ask these questions because I am in Zurich next week to search an apartment, so I do not yet have an address in Zurich, but my future employer wants me to send him my B permit as soon as possible. So I wondered if I could get it next week even w/o an address ?

And my last question is : where to go to get the B permit. Should I go to the Migrationsamt des Kantons Zürich (Berninastrasse 45 | Postfach | 8090 Zürich | http://ift.tt/1N86DcL) or to the Amt für Wirtschaft und Arbeit (AWA) (Walchestrasse 19 | Postfach | 8090 Zürich | http://ift.tt/1N86DcO) to get it ?
